Reversible window shades



I modified this tutorial a bit. I just combined a few steps.


After pressing the hems in 1/2 inch, I evenly spaced and attached elastic loops. I used jewelry elastic instead of twill tape.



Instead of sewing the panels right sides together, I sewed them right sides out since they were already pressed. This cut out the extra step of turning the panels and sewing around them again.



When I measured my panels, I made sure to leave a few extra inches in the length so I could fold the top over for the tension rod to slide in. I sewed on the line that was already there from sewing the panels together.
